Reading a store's public product list.

Every Shopify store publishes a list of its live products at a public address, the same data its own storefront uses to show products. This tool reads that list from your browser, 250 products at a time, for stores with up to 25,000 products, and turns it into the file you choose. Nothing passes through my server and nothing is stored.

Because the list is public, it contains what shoppers can see: titles, descriptions, vendors, product types, tags, options, variant prices and compare-at prices, SKUs where the store shows them, weights, availability and image links. Stock counts, cost prices, SEO fields, metafields and draft or hidden products aren't public, so no scraper can export them without access to the store's admin.

Three export formats.

Choose the file that matches what you need to do next:

FormatUse it for
Shopify import CSVImporting the products into another Shopify store, as drafts, with variants and images in Shopify's current column layout
WooCommerce CSVImporting into WooCommerce with the built-in product importer, with variable products and variations ready
Product listOpening in Excel or Google Sheets: one row per variant with price, compare-at price, availability, vendor, type and the product link

Good reasons to export a Shopify catalog.

Store owners use it to back up or move their own catalog, for example when they've lost admin access to an old store, or to copy products into a second store or a WooCommerce site. Retailers use it to import a supplier's or brand's catalog that they're authorised to sell, instead of typing hundreds of products by hand. Others use the product list for price and range research across stores in their market.

The imported products arrive as drafts, so you can review titles, prices and images before anything goes live, and add your own stock levels.

Use exported products responsibly.

Product descriptions and photos are the store owner's creative work. Importing them into your own shop is only fine when you own them or have permission, such as a wholesale agreement that lets you use a supplier's content. For research, the price and range data is what matters. If you're building your own store, write your own descriptions and use your own photos; it's also better for search rankings, because Google favours original product pages.

If you're moving your own Shopify store to WooCommerce, a scraped catalog is only part of the job. My Shopify to WooCommerce migration service moves products with stock, customers, orders, blog posts and SEO redirects for a fixed price after a free audit.

Shopify Product Scraper FAQs

Is this Shopify scraper free?+

Yes. It's free with no sign-up and no product limit, and it runs in your browser instead of a paid browser extension or cloud service.

Why can't it read some stores?+

Password-protected stores, stores that are closed, and headless storefronts built without Shopify's online store don't publish the public product list, so there is nothing to read.

Does it export inventory and SEO fields?+

No. Stock counts, cost prices, SEO titles and metafields are private to the store's admin. Use Shopify's own product export from the admin to get them for your own store.

Can I import the products into WooCommerce?+

Yes. Choose WooCommerce CSV and import it in WordPress under Products, then Import. Variable products and their variations are set up automatically.

Is scraping a Shopify store legal?+

Reading publicly available product data is generally allowed, but copying another store's descriptions and photos into your shop can infringe their copyright. Only import content you own or have permission to use.
